Friday's are particularly fun in the summer at the library. There are all sorts of fun programs going on in the YS area. "Art a la cart" involves a group art project that gets displayed in the auditorium for the rest of the summer, and lego club is right afterwards and is a giant lego free build in the department. Both are really fun for the kids and get a pretty good turnout. I also got to start weeding today! I'm starting with a big long list of "dead" picture books that need to be pulled. Victoria has the final say on whether or not the book goes, but it's pretty easy to see why these books are the ones that are being pulled from the collection.
