Healthy Bodies Healthy Minds

The Healthy Bodies Healthy Minds program is an eight week three part program. The program includes a fitness activity, making and eating a healthy snack, and a project or a puzzle to make you think! The program is designed for 4th - 6th grade, but can easily be tweaked for younger children or older. 

This program evolved from an idea by my supervisor, and I was given the go ahead to plan what I thought the program should look like. Some of the activities were things found online, others remembered from childhood, and most of the fitness activities were activities I was already familiar with. This program was interesting, fun to plan, and quite different from typical library programming.
